Additionally, it operates a world-class open-access cryo-electron microscopy facility.

The Cryo-Electron Microscopy Laboratory works on the determination of protein structures and the development of cryo-EM methods for structural biology.

- 4 transmission cryo-electron microscopes, including a high-performance Titan Krios microscope
- Extensive infrastructure for sample preparation
- High-performance computing cluster
- FPLC (Fast Protein Liquid Chromatography) and associated equipment for protein purification
