The Electron Tomography and Subtomogram Averaging Workshop is designed to offer a comprehensive overview of the whole image processing workflow in Electron Tomography (ET). This includes tasks such as aligning the tilt series, reconstructing 3D tomograms, identifying particles, performing subtomogram averaging.
Program:
Fundamental Principles: understand the principles of electron tomography, including image acquisition, reconstruction, and data analysis.
Data Processing: Gain proficiency in data processing techniques, including alignment, classification, and subtomogram averaging
Hands-on Experience: Develop practical skills in the use of different softwares via the ScipionTomo framework
Target audience: Researchers, imaging scientists, and graduate students with experience in cryo-EM and/or cryo-ET, or those involved in projects utilizing Cryo-ET.
Selection Criteria: The event will be limited to a restricted number of seats to allow the best interaction between participants and tutors. Participants will be selected based on their CV
and letter of interest.
